Principal Cloud Engineer

Fidelity is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to develop and deliver application functionality by writing code, enhancing features, fixing bugs, and automating tests. This role involves translating business requirements into technical designs, participating in architecture design, and mentoring junior team members. The engineer will be responsible for building and deploying cloud-native microservices and data platforms on AWS and Kubernetes.

• Develops and delivers application functionality by writing code
• Translates business requirements into technical designs
• Participates in architecture design teams and defines application-level architecture
• Designs and develops cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot on AWS and Kubernetes
• Builds and integrates data platforms using AWS Glue, Lake Formation, and Snowflake
• Implements CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using Jenkins, Gitlab, Maven, and Terraform
