About this role

GDIT is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and deliver secure cloud solutions on AWS and Azure for the NIH. This role involves developing reusable automation, supporting custom solutions, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues. The position is primarily remote but requires some onsite presence in Bethesda, MD, and necessitates obtaining a Public Trust clearance.

Design, implement, and support secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure
Develop reusable cloud infrastructure services and automation using Terraform and Ansible
Configure and integrate cloud compute, storage, database, networking, and security services
Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and application deployments
Troubleshoot infrastructure, operating system, and cloud integration issues
Obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
