About this role
General Motors is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join their EDI team, focusing on digitizing their supply chain. This role involves developing, executing, and maintaining EDI strategies to ensure fast, accurate, and secure business data exchange across the supply chain. You will partner with internal IT, business stakeholders, external partners, and SaaS vendors to support EDI operations, modernization, and automation.
What we are looking for
6- Support EDI operations, modernization, and process automation
- Design and support B2B solutions using APIs and traditional EDI formats
- Translate business requirements into transaction-set design and mapping logic
- Manage and improve end-to-end EDI data flows and handle exceptions
- Drive innovation in AI-assisted operations and automated issue detection
- Influence long-term roadmaps and provide technical mentoring
