System Engineer

RBC is hiring a System Engineer to support critical applications within the GFT Team. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of application systems, including front-end and back-end support, quality control, and QE testing across Linux, Cloud, Python, Big Data/Hadoop, and ML platforms. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure systems meet enterprise-grade standards for performance, observability, security, and maintainability.

• Provide support for business mission-critical and complex applications
• Lead and perform quality control and QE testing of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems
• Write robust, fault-tolerant, self-healing code for system reliability
• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, business, and analytics teams
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade Python applications
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions
