Systems Engineer - Global Resource Management (Data Residency)

Cloudflare is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Global Resource Management team in Austin. This role focuses on building and operating microservices and REST APIs for a centralized metadata platform that manages Cloudflare resources. You will design and implement API endpoints, define data models, and ensure the platform scales to support new resource types and high-throughput use cases.

• Build and operate microservices and REST APIs for the tag-api platform
• Design and implement API endpoints, data models, and service-layer logic
• Scale the platform to support new resource types and higher-throughput use cases
• Work with teams across Cloudflare to onboard their resources and integrate APIs
• Focus on backend engineering for reliable, well-tested web services
• Experience with distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and Go
