About this role

Join Leidos as a DevOps Platform Engineer to support our Enterprise IT Operations Center. You will manage and enhance our Kubernetes (OpenShift) platform on AWS, focusing on infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines. This role offers the chance to influence technical direction, standardize DevOps practices, and collaborate with a cross-functional team on critical internal and customer-facing projects.

What we are looking for

Manage and maintain Red Hat OpenShift on AWS, including upgrades, patching, and monitoring
Partner with development teams to deploy and operate containerized applications
Lead improvements using observability data for platform reliability and efficiency
Design and implement GitOps workflows and infrastructure-as-code solutions
Develop automation and tooling to enhance operational efficiency
Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to DevOps best practices
