Senior Infrastructure Engineer

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at the University of Pennsylvania, you will engineer, operate, and advance critical enterprise infrastructure services, with a primary focus on backup and data protection. You will design, implement, and optimize resilient backup and recovery platforms, ensuring data security and recoverability across the university. This role involves collaborating with various technical teams to deliver secure and reliable services, while also contributing to enterprise storage and virtual server environments.

• Engineer and operate enterprise backup, data protection, storage, and virtual server infrastructure
• Senior engineer for enterprise backup and data protection service
• Design, implement, and optimize backup and recovery platforms (Cohesity preferred)
• Support disaster recovery, cyber-recovery, and data resiliency initiatives
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and application teams
• Experience with enterprise storage (NetApp preferred) and virtualization (VMware, Nutanix)
