About this role

Astera Labs is seeking a Sr. Principal Server Firmware & System Architect to define the future of AI infrastructure. This role involves architecting next-generation platforms, focusing on server firmware, high-speed connectivity, and rack-scale system design. You will collaborate with industry leaders and influence standards to enable hyperscale AI training and inference workloads.

What we are looking for

Define end-to-end AI platform and rack-scale architecture
Drive innovation in server BIOS/UEFI and OpenBMC firmware
Lead system bring-up and firmware-hardware-software integration
Own AI platform performance strategy and optimization
Collaborate with silicon vendors, hyperscalers, OEMs, and ODMs
Influence industry standards and mentor engineering teams
