About this role

BlackSky is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate platforms for their real-time intelligence services. This role involves managing infrastructure across public cloud, private data centers, and air-gapped environments, with a focus on Kubernetes, GitOps, and infrastructure as code.

What we are looking for

Design and operate AWS infrastructure and hybrid connectivity
Manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters (EKS, Rancher, OpenShift)
Implement GitOps workflows with Argo CD
Author and maintain Helm charts
Build repeatable delivery into disconnected environments using Zarf
Codify infrastructure and platform configuration as code (Terraform)
