Senior Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering

Join General Motors' OnStar team in Dublin as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving scalable and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure to ensure the resilience, performance, and scalability of customer-facing OnStar services. This hybrid role involves partnering with development and product teams, driving adoption of reliability best practices, and mentoring other engineers.

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and observable infrastructure
• Drive adoption of configuration management and testing frameworks
• Partner across teams to improve service reliability and incident response
• Evolve and implement an observability approach using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
• Support on-call practices, manage blameless postmortems, and guide root cause analysis
• Mentor engineers and support a culture of extreme ownership
