About this role

Altera is seeking an experienced Virtualization and Cloud Platform Engineer to manage and optimize cloud and on-premises environments. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining virtual infrastructure, Windows Server OS, SQL databases, and Linux systems. The engineer will also develop automation scripts, manage monitoring solutions, and administer SCCM.

What we are looking for

Design, implement, and maintain virtualized infrastructure (Hyper-V, Azure Stack HCI)
Manage and optimize Windows Server OS, SQL Server databases, and SUSE Linux
Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash) for infrastructure management
Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring solutions
Administer Windows System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
7+ years of experience in virtualization and cloud platforms
