About this role

Alcoa is seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure and scalable Microsoft Azure infrastructure. This role focuses on establishing platform governance, building enterprise-grade cloud environments, and architecting modern cloud-native applications, including support for Generative AI workloads. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to deliver standardized platforms and well-governed engineering practices.

What we are looking for

Establish and enforce Azure platform governance using Azure Policy and RBAC
Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure and landing zones
Architect cloud-native applications leveraging Azure PaaS services
Develop and support governed environments for Generative AI workloads
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep
Configure monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor
