About this role

Amentum is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. This role involves providing technical oversight and expertise for the development of advanced baselines for surface Anti-Submarine Warfare systems, focusing on contact management and weapons control. You will conduct engineering analysis, manage requirements, and participate in bug adjudication.

What we are looking for

Provide technical oversight for AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines
Conduct engineering reviews of performance specifications and interface designs
Manage requirements for Cruiser-Destroyer platforms and Foreign Military Sales
Analyze reported issues in bug adjudication meetings
Minimum ten years of systems engineering experience in Undersea Warfare
Experience with GOTS and COTS software technologies
