- Coordinate with project marketing and management on requirements
- Lead architecture brainstorming and drive system process
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis of subsystems
- Build and qualify prototypes, or procure and test subsystems
- Troubleshoot engineering problems including serviceability and manufacturability
