About this role

As a Platform Engineer Sr. Principal, you will be a key technical leader for a major Medicaid claims processing system, bridging enterprise mainframe technologies with modern AWS cloud services. You will set and defend the technical direction, own architecture governance, and ensure compliance with stringent regulations, reporting directly to the program's Chief Technology Officer.

What we are looking for

Lead enterprise architecture for a large-scale Medicaid program, integrating mainframe and cloud platforms
Set technical direction and mentor technical leads across architecture and operations
Own architecture governance, including review boards and standards
Ensure compliance with HIPAA/HITECH, NIST, and FedRAMP regulations
Provide executive-level reporting and technical documentation
Deep expertise in both IBM z/OS (COBOL, CICS, DB2) and AWS cloud-native services
