About this role
Northwood is building a global network of phased array ground stations and seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and operate our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our infrastructure as code, implementing cloud networking, and ensuring the reliability of our systems. This is a core individual contributor role where you'll work closely with platform engineers to make our cloud environment robust and scalable.
What we are looking for 6
- Own and operate cloud infrastructure stack including Kubernetes, IAM, and observability
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using GitOps practices
- Implement cloud-side networking and partner with network engineering
- On-call rotation for cloud stack with incident resolution and post-mortems
- Collaborate with security and compliance on control implementation
- Automate manual work and treat toil as a design signal
