About this role

Evotec is seeking a Principal Automation & MES Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing execution systems (MES) and process automation within a regulated environment. This senior technical leadership role involves driving digital transformation, ensuring system compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing operations and reliability.

What we are looking for

Lead MES design, configuration, deployment, and continuous improvement
Support integration of MES with ERP, LIMS, SCADA, and data analytics platforms
Provide technical leadership for automation and process control systems (DeltaV, SCADA, PLC)
Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
Author, review, and approve validation documentation (URS, FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ)
Lead or contribute to capital projects and system implementations
