About this role

Walmart is seeking a Systems and Infrastructure Engineer III to support and operate our enterprise Kubernetes platform, the Walmart Cloud Native Platform (WCNP). You will ensure the reliability of thousands of cloud-native workloads, drive automation to eliminate toil, and build AI-assisted tooling to enhance incident response and platform efficiency. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, container networking, CI/CD, and observability.

What we are looking for

Support and operate the Walmart Cloud Native Platform (WCNP)
Manage Kubernetes cluster health, upgrades, and maintenance
Build and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
Troubleshoot issues using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenObserve
Provide hands-on support for container networking and load balancing (Istio, Ingress)
Develop automation using Python and AI/LLM APIs
