About this role

Amentum is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical oversight for a subsystem of the AN/SQQ-89 Undersea Warfare System at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren Division. This role involves managing system requirements, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring architectural compliance and integration risks are addressed.

What we are looking for

Serve as Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for a subsystem within the AN/SQQ-89 Undersea Warfare System
Manage system requirements, features, and technical documentation
Collaborate with Navy Warfare Centers, TDAs, and system integrator software developers
Oversee system architecture and review design artifacts
Coordinate with test teams and analyze test event results
Maintain traceability from high-level capabilities to subsystem requirements
