About this role

Join RTX as an Application Engineer specializing in DevOps and Engineering Tools. You will deploy, administer, and support enterprise software applications, including COTS and containerized solutions, across classified and unclassified environments. This remote role involves driving software modernization, migrating legacy systems, and partnering with engineering teams to enhance build and test pipelines.

What we are looking for

Deploy, sustain, and support enterprise software applications on-premise and in cloud environments
Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code
Configure, harden, and maintain cybersecurity and compliance posture of hosted solutions
Assist engineering teams with software build/test pipeline support and optimization
Partner with engineering stakeholders to migrate legacy systems to modern, container-based platforms
Strong Linux system administration and experience with COTS applications like Jira, GitLab, Jenkins
