About this role
Amentum is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role involves assessing operational effectiveness of technologies, identifying non-material solutions, and supporting the development of capability improvement plans. You will plan and execute experiments, conduct analysis, generate reports, and collaborate with various government and private sector entities. Regular travel is required.
What we are looking for
6- Assess operational effectiveness of existing and emerging technologies, tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Identify non-material solutions such as concepts of operation (CONOPS) and JTTPs
- Plan and execute experiments, conduct analysis, and generate system assessment reports
- Support the development of interoperability requirements and standards
- Collaborate with Services, Combatant Commands, Inter-agency, and private sector entities
- Author documents at Service Headquarters, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command Headquarters levels
