About this role

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure and scalable cloud platforms across Azure and AWS. This role focuses on enabling enterprise applications, AI, machine learning, and analytics through expertise in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps automation. You will build and support AI platforms, implement robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure operational excellence and security across our cloud environments.

What we are looking for

Design, deploy, and support Azure and AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Bicep
Build and operate Kubernetes environments (AKS) with container deployment and scaling
Develop reusable modules, platform services, and automation for standardization
Implement secure cloud networking, identity, and observability patterns
Build and support cloud platforms for AI, machine learning, and generative AI workloads
Design and maintain GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines with automated security validation
