System Engineer

Hitachi Rail is seeking a System Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA to analyze customer specifications, define system requirements, and identify product gaps. You will create system specification documents, manage design risks, and serve as the primary technical interface with customers and internal engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Analyze customer specifications and develop design requirements
• Manage design technical solutions and implement requirements changes
• Lead collaborative problem-solving and mitigate design risks
• Interface with and guide hardware and software engineering teams
• Prepare and defend design documentation with external customers
• 3-5 years experience in requirements management
