Principal System Engineer (Onsite)

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking an experienced Principal Systems Engineer to join their Collins Aerospace team in St. Petersburg, FL. This onsite role involves providing technical leadership throughout the product development lifecycle, from requirements and design to integration, testing, and sell-off of complex systems like the U.S. Navy's Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC).

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship in requirements development, system design, and MBSE
• Lead the development and management of testable requirements and verification approaches
• Define and oversee system architecture, subsystem design, and component analysis
• Plan, direct, and execute integration and test activities, including troubleshooting
• Develop and refine verification and validation plans, utilizing Python and MATLAB for test execution and data analysis
• Act as a technical authority using systems and software modeling and simulation tools
