Infrastructure Architect

Axon is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to lead the technical direction and architectural integrity of its core infrastructure platforms, including virtualization, storage, cloud (Azure/AWS), and database services. This role involves making design decisions, setting standards, and guiding execution while remaining hands-on. You will also lead a team of engineers and collaborate with various departments to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions.

• Own architecture and technical direction for infrastructure platforms (VMware, storage, cloud, databases)
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure engineers
• Design, review, and approve infrastructure solutions balancing scalability, security, reliability, and cost
• Remain hands-on in critical areas like virtualization, cloud, storage, and databases
• Partner with Network, Platform, Security, and Product teams
• Drive infrastructure modernization, IaC, and automation
