Infrastructure Platform Engineer

Join Cisco's Acacia team as an Infrastructure Platform Engineer to enhance the reliability and effectiveness of engineering and operations platforms. You will manage servers, virtualization, storage, and networking, focusing on reducing downtime and mitigating operational risks. This role involves hands-on technical support, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and developing automation to improve infrastructure resilience.

• Administer and troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure, systems, or platform environments
• Provide hands-on technical support for infrastructure platforms including VMware, Windows/Linux servers, and enterprise storage
• Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and escalation procedures
• Partner with security and network teams to ensure platform security and reliability
• Improve infrastructure operations through scripting, automation, or configuration management
• Experience with Linux systems, enterprise storage, backup & recovery, identity services, infrastructure monitoring, or network services
