Infrastructure Architect

Axon is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to lead the technical direction and architectural integrity of their core infrastructure platforms, including virtualization, storage, cloud (Azure/AWS), and databases. This role involves hands-on work, setting standards, and guiding a team of engineers to ensure scalable, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions for both corporate IT and product teams.

• Own architecture and technical direction for infrastructure platforms (VMware, storage, cloud, databases)
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure engineers
• Design, review, and approve infrastructure solutions balancing scalability, security, reliability, and cost
• Hands-on expertise in virtualization, cloud engineering, storage, and database platforms
• Partner with Network, Platform, Security, and Product teams
• Drive infrastructure modernization, IaC, and automation efforts
