About this role
IG is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with deep Akamai expertise to lead the automation of our edge delivery estate. You will transition manual configurations to code using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD, enabling self-service for application teams. This role is critical in ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our global trading platform.
What we are looking for
6- Automate Akamai configuration using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD
- Enable self-service for edge delivery changes
- Own the design and operational health of the Akamai estate
- Configure and tune edge security controls
- Diagnose and resolve complex delivery and performance incidents
- 5+ years of CDN/edge delivery engineering with deep Akamai expertise
