About this role

Proofpoint is seeking a DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. In this hybrid role, you will own the reliability, automation, and delivery of systems powering our data pipelines and analytics. You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to enable faster, safer data product delivery.

What we are looking for

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and data infrastructure
Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CDK)
Own the observability stack for data pipelines, including metrics, logs, and alerts
Manage container and compute infrastructure for data ingestion microservices
Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for large-scale data transformation
Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and security teams on infrastructure solutions
