Senior Infrastructure Engineer - UK&IE

ZEISS is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage and maintain IT infrastructure services across the UK and Ireland. This role involves acting as a technical lead, ensuring high availability of systems, providing escalation support, and mentoring junior engineers.

• Technical lead for infrastructure and workplace technologies
• Manage enterprise infrastructure platforms (virtualization, compute, storage, backup)
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability
• Provide senior technical leadership and escalation support
• Ensure infrastructure services meet governance, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks
• Mentor and develop engineering colleagues
