About this role

As a DevSecOps Engineer at the University of Chicago's Center for Translational Data Science, you will streamline our secure software development lifecycle, enhance security automation, and improve incident response. You will leverage open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to reduce manual tasks and protect critical systems including on-prem infrastructure, custom SaaS tools, and AI/ML environments.

What we are looking for

Evaluate and analyze security issues from DevSecOps tools (SAST, SCA, DAST, IAST)
Design, develop, and maintain security infrastructure
Collaborate with teams on security remediation and vulnerability management
Develop DevSecOps metrics, policies, processes, and procedures
Implement automated security checks within CI/CD pipelines
Assist with FedRamp and FISMA compliance
