Year-Round Intern - Cloud Engineering

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Year-Round Cloud Engineering Intern to support the Platform Engineering Team. This role involves automating security and cost controls within the AWS platform, including policy-as-code, IAM, and cost anomaly detection. You will contribute to tools used across the organization and gain hands-on experience in cloud security and FinOps.

• Support automation of cloud security and cost controls
• Build and enhance Open Policy Agent (OPA) policies
• Develop Financial Operations dashboarding and reporting
• Automate cleanup and alerting for cloud cost management
• Gain experience with AWS, Python, and Terraform
• Contribute to real backlog items on the Cloud Engineering team
