About this role
Join the High-Performance Computing Systems Group at NCAR as an HPC Systems Engineer. You will provide essential systems engineering and technical support for advanced computational systems, storage, networks, and data transfer services. This role involves working with multi-vendor resources and requires occasional travel to the NCAR Wyoming Supercomputing Center.
What we are looking for
6- Systems engineering and technical support for HPC environments
- Experience with Linux, scripting, and programming languages
- Familiarity with HPC networking, interconnects, and security
- Installation and integration of HPC hardware and software
- Experience with job schedulers and clustered file systems
- Ability to travel and participate in on-call rotations
