Linux platform engineer

Lilly is seeking a highly experienced Ansible Automation Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise Linux platforms. This role focuses on driving automation and Infrastructure as Code across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring operational excellence and security for critical healthcare systems.

• Serve as SME for enterprise Linux platforms (RHEL, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, SUSE)
• Lead adoption and engineering of Ansible Automation Platform
• Implement automation for OS patching, provisioning, and configuration management
• Design and support Linux workloads on AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware
• Ensure SOX compliance and security hardening for Linux environments
• Mentor junior engineers and lead infrastructure projects
