Senior Finance Systems Engineer: Oracle Fusion - Remote, US

Block is seeking a Senior Finance Systems Engineer to lead finance technology transformation, focusing on the architecture and scaling of their core financial systems. This role emphasizes an AI-first engineering mindset, leveraging AI-assisted development to automate financial workflows and improve delivery velocity. You will collaborate with business leaders and data engineers to drive transformation across Oracle Fusion, internal applications, and LLMs.

• Drive AI-First Development using tools like Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot
• Architect scalable financial solutions in Oracle FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP
• Build intelligent integrations between accounting systems, data lakes, and internal applications
• Ensure operational excellence through system inefficiency identification and automation
• Own technical execution by translating business requirements into scalable technical designs
• Possess proven hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion modules (FAH, GL, SLA, BIP)
