Senior Platform Engineer

RBC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their WMTS- Data Platform Infrastructure Team in Toronto. This role involves providing expert technical and business support for existing data platforms, including Linux, Windows, and cloud environments. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure system stability, security compliance, and operational efficiency, while also leading platform initiatives and contributing to technology upgrades and process enhancements.

• Provide day-to-day support for Wealth Management Data applications platforms
• Take ownership of security patches and updates for operating systems and applications
• Perform upgrades to the operating system and middle-tier applications
• Setup monitoring and alerts for the Data platforms
• Lead Platform initiatives from end to end
• Create and maintain knowledge base documentation
