FIX Senior Software Engineer, AVP

State Street is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Globallink division in Boston. This role focuses on developing and enhancing electronic trading platforms for foreign exchange, requiring expertise in Java, FIX protocol, and backend technologies. You will be responsible for hands-on development, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop backend code for electronic trading platforms, focusing on foreign exchange
• Write unit tests and adhere to company SDLC, IR Risk, and compliance policies
• Utilize FIX protocol for integration between State Street applications and external clients
• Develop complex database programs using SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle
• Leverage experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot critical code and be on-call for 24/7 support
