Systems Engineer, Platform Design & Development

Applied Materials is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize complex systems for the semiconductor industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions, define system architectures, conduct testing, and ensure seamless integration of subsystems. This role requires strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills to meet high-quality standards and customer expectations.

• Design and define complex system components and subsystems
• Contribute to system engineering specifications
• Coordinate with project marketing and management on requirements
• Lead architecture brainstorming and drive system selection
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis of subsystems
• Build and qualify prototypes, or procure and test outsourced subsystems
