Systems Engineer

Cloudflare is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Production Platform Organization in Austin, TX. This role focuses on building and maintaining the internal platform and tooling for automated testing, reliability metrics, and availability reporting. You will collaborate with engineering teams to understand system interactions and refine reliability objectives, ensuring the continuous improvement of software development and measurement processes.

• Build and maintain production reliability testing infrastructure
• Develop and document SLI/SLO plans for system verification
• Measure uptime metrics like correctness, availability, and latency
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system interactions
• Provide feedback to improve software development and reliability processes
• Experience with distributed systems, Go, Rust, or Python
