About this role

Seyond is seeking a Staff LiDAR System Engineer to lead system architecture, performance optimization, validation, and application development for their LiDAR products. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into system specifications and ensure optimal product performance across various applications.

What we are looking for

Lead LiDAR system architecture, requirements definition, and technical trade-offs
Translate product requirements into system specifications and validation plans
Optimize LiDAR product performance for automotive, robotics, and industrial applications
Perform system-level analysis for range, accuracy, resolution, and reliability
Lead cross-functional investigations and root-cause analysis
Design and execute experiments to validate LiDAR performance
