Principal Engineer – Cloud Observability

Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of reusable Terraform modules for cloud observability across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will serve as the technical lead for cloud observability engineering, partnering with Cloud Engineering teams to deliver scalable monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. This role involves advising leadership on complex technical challenges and translating business objectives into innovative engineering solutions.

• Lead design and development of reusable Terraform modules for cloud observability
• Technical lead for cloud observability engineering
• Partner with Cloud Engineering teams on monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Advise leadership on complex technical challenges and strategic opportunities
• 7+ years of Engineering experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Terraform development experience
