Data Platform Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to build and maintain the data models that power our AI-enabled energy company. You will translate complex business needs into scalable analytics solutions using modern data stack tools like dbt, SQL, and Python. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and trustworthiness of our operational data, directly impacting our decision-making capabilities.

• Design and implement robust data models (Kimball, medallion) for analytics and AI workloads
• Build and maintain dbt models with disciplined testing, documentation, and version control
• Integrate and manage high-volume time-series operational and SCADA data
• Write and optimize complex SQL transformations for production load
• Develop semantic and context layers for reliable data access and governance
• Own orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and champion data testing and validation
