Entrust is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to design and evolve a modern, on-premises SaaS platform built on microservices and VMware, with a transition towards containerization. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring high availability, scalability, performance, and security for distributed systems, working closely with engineering and CloudOps teams to solve complex challenges and improve system reliability and maintainability.

• Design availability architecture for compute, network, storage, data, and app tiers
• Design fault domains and enforce placement strategies for resilience
• Eliminate single points of failure across all system components
• Define performance budgets, SLOs, and capacity headroom
• Drive infrastructure as code and GitOps practices
• Embed security by design, including zero-trust networking and mTLS
