About this role

Amentum is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) integration, administration, and sustainment for the Skywalker program. You will provide Tier 2 support, troubleshoot complex system issues, maintain secure infrastructure, and train support personnel. This role requires experience with Linux or Windows environments and strong problem-solving skills.

Integrate, configure, and maintain WIDS hardware and software
Provide Tier 2 technical support for system administration and troubleshooting
Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments
Support system integration, upgrades, and patch management
Monitor system performance and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Develop and maintain technical documentation and system procedures
