Senior Motion Designer

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join their Creative team. In this role, you will be a strategic visual storyteller responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and animating high-impact motion graphics across various channels. You will play a key part in evolving how motion is created, governed, and scaled throughout the enterprise, transforming briefs and scripts into polished motion experiences.

• Design and animate motion graphics, typography, and visual effects
• Translate briefs and scripts into storyboards, style frames, and motion concepts
• Build modular motion systems, templates, and reusable assets for scalable production
• Advance motion standards, governance, and accessibility requirements
• Collaborate with creative, marketing, and production teams
• Support scalable production models and AI-enabled creative workflows
