Executive Director, Product Design

The Atlantic is seeking an Executive Director of Product Design to lead a talented team and shape the future of our reader experience. This senior role requires a blend of strong people management skills and hands-on design expertise. You will drive product strategy, mentor designers, and contribute directly to the creation of innovative reader-facing products across our digital platforms.

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers
• Set design direction for key product initiatives
• Perform hands-on design work from concept to launch
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and editorial teams
• Raise design quality and consistency across the organization
• Experience in media or publishing is preferred
