Principal Product Designer, Brand and Experience (Contract, Hands-On)

OfferUp is seeking a hands-on Principal Product Designer to translate brand strategy into a more distinctive and locally relevant product experience. This contract role involves designing and building key user experiences to improve comprehension, trust, and user engagement on the platform.

• Translate brand strategy into product experience principles
• Design strategically important user experiences in Figma
• Develop and test hypotheses connecting design to outcomes
• Build reusable interaction, visual, and content patterns
• Assess and recommend improvements to the design operating model
• Audit current experience and identify strategic gaps
