Staff/Lead Product Designer, Design System

ICEYE is seeking a Staff/Lead Product Designer to build their design system from scratch. This hands-on role involves creating a Figma library, design playbook, and coded components, collaborating closely with frontend engineers. You will be responsible for driving adoption, setting high craft standards, and leveraging AI tools to streamline system work.

• Build a design system from the ground up, starting with a Figma library and playbook
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on component design and implementation in code
• Drive adoption of the design system through advocacy and migration support
• Set and maintain high craft standards for visual design and user interfaces
• Utilize AI tools to automate documentation, variant generation, and token maintenance
• Own end-to-end UX for complex professional products, focusing on systems thinking
