Associate Design Director, Product

AKQA Amsterdam is seeking an Associate Design Director to shape digital brand experiences. You will combine design thinking with digital craft to create intuitive interfaces and systems, working closely with cross-functional teams. This role involves hands-on design, prototyping, and defining design systems, with an emphasis on leveraging AI and emerging technologies.

• Lead digital craft and design direction for products, services, and experiences
• Shape user experiences by translating brand and business needs into compelling designs
• Bring brands to life through distinctive interfaces, interactions, and systems
• Design hands-on using Figma and prototyping tools
• Build and evolve scalable, brand-led design systems
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies in the design workflow
