Product Designer, Accessibility

Lead OpenAI's company-wide accessibility program, integrating strategy with hands-on product design. You will advocate for disabled users, remove barriers across customer journeys, and establish durable ownership of accessibility throughout the company. This role defines accessibility for a new generation of products spanning web, mobile, desktop, voice, AI, and hardware.

• Define OpenAI’s accessibility strategy, roadmap, governance, priorities, and measures of progress
• Design and ship accessible experiences while identifying systemic barriers
• Build accessibility into our design system through inclusive components and guardrails
• Center disabled people through participatory research and usability studies
• Establish practical standards for screen readers, keyboard navigation, and contrast
• Grow company-wide capability through training and a network of accessibility champions
